Why am I still getting these emails?
An excellent question!
- Lay Voting Members: If you registered as a voting member for Synod Assembly, you remain a voting member of the Synod Assembly until you are replaced by your congregation. Unless your congregation elects new voting members, we will look forward to seeing you 4 June 2022. If you are not planning on attending, you might want to light a fire under your congregation to get a replacement elected. In the meantime, you remain on this list.
- Clergy Voting Members: All those under letter of call are voting members of the Synod Assembly. If your status has changed, let us know. In the meantime, you remain on the list.
You can ask to be removed from this email list (even if you are a voting member). A comprehensive explanation of our synod assembly communication options can be found at http://wv-wmd.org/SA/comms.html.
